MARK YOUNG
Mark is a registered Architect with over 28 years of experience, a strong design focus and a high attention to detail. He has been responsible for leading a large diversity of projects from feasibility and concept through to delivery, providing an extensive understanding of the processes involved. He has considerable experience in multi residential and mixed use projects, along with the commercial, health and hospitality sectors.
In his role as Managing Principal, Mark is the Lead at Hunt Architects. He works closely with the other Principals at Hunt to grow a dynamic and creative practice. Mark is focused on developing strong client and team relationships across all areas of the business and projects. Design thinking is a key aspect of his approach and he is an advocate for high quality architecture, and the continual drive for achieving the best built outcomes for clients.

AMY JORDAN
Amy is a valued member of Hunt Architects, serving as one of our Principals and Project Leader. She possesses a remarkable ability to excel in all aspects of project management, demonstrating her commitment to seeing projects through from their initial stages to their completion.
Throughout her career, Amy has enthusiastically embraced a diverse range of projects, predominantly within the fields of health and education. In these endeavours, she has effectively channelled her passion for impactful architecture that enhances the lives of individuals and leaves a positive imprint on communities.
Amy’s portfolio boasts a multitude of impressive undertakings, with several notable projects that have garnered recognition for their excellence. Noteworthy among these include Fremantle Hospital 40 Bed Mental Health Project, Albany Health Campus Radiation Oncology Service, Onslow Health Service Redevelopment, Collie Health Service Emergency Department and Midland Community Mental Health Centre. Amy’s extensive experience, combined with her unwavering passion for her work, makes her an invaluable asset to our team.

BRIAN LA FONTAINE
With a professional journey spanning over 38 years, Brian has worked across Australia as well as internationally in London. He oversees many of our projects, ensuring project satisfaction for both new and long-standing clients and that the design aligns with the clients’ vision, budget, and expectations.
Brian leaves no stone unturned; thoroughly exploring all potential project options with our design team, ensuring that the very best outcome is always achieved. His experience includes office accommodations, sporting facilities, performing arts venues, prisons, health campuses, educational training centers, and heritage projects.
Notably, Brian has contributed to several multi-award-winning projects, including the Red Earth Arts Precinct in Karratha, the National Anzac Centre in Albany, and the Gold Coast Entertainment Centre.

GRAHAM HUNT
As a Principal in our firm, Graham leverages an impressive 27-year tenure marked by architectural quality. His specialization lies in the design and administration of complex government commissions, where his leadership plays a pivotal role in consistently delivering outstanding built outcomes for our clients. With each project he undertakes, Graham ensures that every variable is considered, coordinating the collective expertise of the team to ensure that each project reaches its potential.
Through his dedication of understanding objectives, refined presentations, resolved design solutions, and impartial contract administration, Graham has fostered multiple long-term relationships with both private enterprises and Government agencies alike. These relationships stand as a testament to his unwavering commitment to excellence and his ability to consistently exceed the expectations of our clients.
Graham’s project experience lies across all sectors, but most notably the Bendat Basketball Centre, the Supreme Court of Western Australia, various Police complexes such as the Armadale Courthouse and Police Complex, multiple TAFE colleges, and public libraries.

MICHAEL COOK
As a Principal, Michael provides leadership across the Sydney Studio projects, as well as being an integral member of the senior leadership team at Hunt. He prides himself on maintaining close interaction with his clients, consultants and contractors to achieve the very best project outcomes.
Michael has worked on a broad range of unique projects, both within Australia and internationally. His recent focus has been on aquatic sporting and leisure, custodial and justice, and complex industrial projects.
Michael is passionate about seeking design solutions that go beyond the business-as-usual mindset, particularly when this comes to the energy efficiency and sustainability aspects of the built environment.

STEVEN SMYTH
Steven is a creative, resourceful, and innovative architect who has led major projects for over 20 years. His unyielding passion for architecture, sustainability and improving the quality of our shared built environment informs his approach to the practice of architecture. His work is grounded by a considered understanding of the place and its intrinsic ecologies, natural, cultural and urban. He enjoys challenging conventions and questioning established mindsets to unlock the potential of every project.
A consummate team player, he enjoys the creative tension derived through consultation and collaboration. Working closely with communities, clients, and stakeholders to define a brief and collectively realise a shared vision drives his ambitious approach to design.
He has experience in award winning projects encompassing sports and recreation, education, commercial, multi-residential, aged care, tourism, resorts, civic, cultural, urban design, and master planning projects.
Steven has the proven ability to deliver a visionary project that is functional, bespoke, and interwoven with a distinct narrative that is unique to the context of each project.

DAMIEN SITA
With over two decades of experience, Damien brings a wealth of expertise to his architectural career. Throughout his professional journey, he has contributed to diverse range of projects, including local and state government civic buildings, extensive healthcare facilities, mining infrastructure and camp design, education institutions, as well as sport and recreation facilities. Damien’s experience spans across Australia, fostering a deep understanding of documentation and contract administration.
In addition to his project involvement, Damien has assumed responsibility for specification writing on numerous office projects. This role has allowed him to cultivate a comprehensive knowledge base in various architectural types.
As a Senior Associate of Hunt Architects, Damien believes that architecture has the unique ability to not only allow for the creation of a built form to satisfy a person’s needs; it also provides an avenue to take a client’s desires and make them a lived experience.

SINH DUC HONG
Sinh possesses extensive expertise as a seasoned technician, boasting exceptional abilities in contract documentation. His proficiency in the realm of 3D design presentation visualization is exemplary, complemented by his strong aptitude for incorporating Building Information Modelling (BIM) into 3D documentation.
Having garnered valuable experience across a broad spectrum of projects, Sinh has successfully undertaken assignments spanning diverse sectors such as commercial, police, justice, correctional, residential, and healthcare. He consistently contributes to projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from initial conception to final delivery.
Sinh’s friendly demeanour enables him to effectively lead his team, fostering a cooperative and productive work environment. Moreover, his unwavering commitment to quality and meticulous attention to detail ensure that the design outcomes he produces align closely with the client’s vision, resulting in a superior and refined end product.
